How is my price determined?
We help you get the best price possible. We are amazing at procurement. However, this is not an exact science, it depends on timing, competition, existing relationships within the account, history of purchases, volume of purchases, the actual manufacturer rep, some politics, etc. We will do an analysis with you on the current landscape and decide on our joint customized approach in order to help you get the best price. Sometimes it is immediate gratification, sometimes it may take a few months to a year to work your discount levels into the right levels. 90% of the time we save our clients 20% on the 1st try.
Can I get my order sooner?
We are always held to manufacturer timelines and distribution stock. The good thing is that we work with over 5 different distributors so we are able to check stock in multiple locations for you if you need your gear right away.
What file-format should I submit?
Excel is the ideal way in an unlocked sheet. Having the manufacturer sku, a description, the quantity, and the list price help ensure we are talking about the same product or service.
What is your minimum order quantity?
From a power supply to a full multinational network design and all in between we want to help you succeed with.
How long is turnaround time?
Expect 48 hours max.
How much do I have to pay to get started?
There is no subscription fee or entry fee to start working with us, we only take a fee on the sale which is 4%.
How can Centrinel get a better price than Gold or Platinum partners?
This is an old school myth. While this is the case in maybe 10% of manufacturer products, 90% of the best pricing and the best products are accessible by simply a registered partner. While Centrinel holds various levels of partnership with different manufacturers we have learned that the client dictates the sale. If they want to buy product or services from Manufacturer X and they want it at a certain discount level, if the Manufacturer is capable of selling it at that discount level to Partner A they are 90% of the time able to offer that same discount to Partner B. Don’t let anyone fool you otherwise, if it means they will lose the sale if they don’t go with Partner B they will make it happen. This was an old way of doing business that has been altered for good in these competitive times.
What about Pre Sales, Design support?
While we have a highly competent pre sales engineering team, we also look to the Manufacturer for their support. No one knows the latest releases, solutions, product transition schedules, etc. and can speak to the this better than the Manufacturer. Our philosophy is to use a healthy balance of both. Sometimes the Manufacturer engineer is not the best and in those cases we can take over 100%. However, our goal is to make your design efficient, and right sized. There is an antiquated thought process out there that the Manufacturer will sell you more than you need. The flipside of this is that the Reseller will sell you what creates more services for them so they get paid more and you rely on them more. Because our end goal for you is savings. We don’t over scope designs or try to paint you in a corner to rely on us for services. We strive to make you independent and efficient hitting bottom line cost savings month to month. Some clients require full IT Outsourcing because they are understaffed and we get opportunities like that and can support them, but on most projects, we only want to sell you what you need.
